Artemesia, Powis Castle Powis Castle is one of the hardiest and strongest and most beautiful of the silver-gray "Dusty Miller"-type wormwoods. It is more tolerant of summer heat and humidity than the others. Show off its lacy silvery foliage in mixed shrub and perennial borders.

Artemesia, Silver Mound Artemisia is a genus of perennials and shrubs that are grown for the decorative and aromatic foliage. Many varieties will survive in arid and semi-arid conditions and have feathery foliage, which adds interest and character to the landscape.

Blanket Flower, Fanfare Brilliantly colored red, orange and yellow petals form spectacular blooms over a long season. The appearance is reminiscent of a native American Indian blanket. Use in the foreground of mixed perennial borders.

Blanket Flower, Goblin 'Goblin' blooms in the summer with daisy-like flowers. Goblin' has 3 to 4 inch wide flowers with dark purplish maroon centers and ray petals of rich red tipped with bright golden yellow. Begins blooming in June and continue through the summer.

Catmint, Walkers Low "Walker's Low" is a stunning non-reseeding selection with attractive, crinkled blue-green foliage and a profusion of deep lavender-blue flowers. Shear it back after the first flush of flowers in late spring and it will come back into bloom later in the summer. This plant can really take the heat. Use it in flower borders, as a tall edging, or in an herb garden.

Columbine, Denver Gold This variety has large, showy yellow, fragrant flowers. It blooms in late spring and if deadheaded, will be a heavy rebloomer. It can be used in rock gardens, containers, beds, or cut flowers.

Cone Flower, Purple Beautiful light petals sweep to a cone shape. A proficient bloomer from mid-summer on. Echinacea root is used in herbal medicine for protection against colds and viruses. Achieves its full blooming potential in the second year.

Cone Flower, Ruby Star 'Ruby Star' bears carmine red, horizontal petal, daisy-like flowers surrounding a gold cone on sturdy stems above dark green leaves. Drought tolerant. 'Ruby Star' is best used in the back border, in naturalized areas or as cut flowers. This variety features a deeper color than other varieties of Cone Flowers.

Cone Flower Sunrise Sunrise has citron yellow blossoms and on top of that are rose-scented. It's cone starts out green and ends up gold. Very vigorous grower.

Coreopsis, Brown Eyes These plants form a low mound of leathery green leaves, bearing many upright stems of large, brown-eyed, golden-yellow flowers with deep red ring around eye. Removing faded flowers regularly will encourage blooming to continue into fall.

Coreopsis, Early Sunrise Golden yellow flowers on 2 foot bushy plants bloom from June to Sept. It makes for good cut flowers, and pruning keeps the plants abundant with blooms.

Coreopsis, Dwarf Tickseed An easy to grow, low, clump-forming perennial that is very weather tolerant. Bright yellow-orange daisy-like flowers are perfect accents in rock gardens. Its matting habit makes an excellent ground cover or edging plant.

Coreopsis, Sweet Dreams Plants form a low, bushy mound of ferny green foliage, bearing masses of blooms that begin creamy-white with a red eye, aging to bright raspberry pink. Long blooming all spring and summer. Superb in mixed containers.

Coreopsis, Tequila Sunrise In early summer a profuse of blooms are produced and the plant continues to flower sporadically through early fall. The large daisy-like flowers are golden yellow with a red eye.

Coreopsis, Zamfir Coreopsis are among the longest blooming of the perennials and Zamfir is no different. It has unique yellow fluted petals and flowers well into fall. Easy to grow and tolerates almost any soil condition.
