Fruit Trees


Apple, Golden Delicious
Excellent all purpose cooking apple.  This apple has firm, white flesh.  Rich mellow flavor sweet and crisp.  The tree is spreading, productive, and easy to manage.  Fruit thinning is required to maintain annual bearing.  Blooms mid-April.  Harvest mid -Sept.  Produces in 3-5 years.

Apple, Jonathan
Moderate grower, bears young.  Fruit medium, highly colored in sunny climates, striped red in cooler climates. Skin thin and tough; flesh fine, juicy. Flavor sprightly sub-acid.  One of the best dessert and pie apples.

Cherry, Canada Red
Canada Red Cherry is a small tree.  Foliage is a medium green in the spring turning to dark purple as the weather warms, then intensifies to reddish in the fall. Has white flowers in long clusters in late April.

Crab Apple, Hopa Rose
A very hardy crabapple growing upright.  This tree puts our a spectacular display of fragrant, rose colored blooms in Spring.  Produces a profusion of orange-red fruit in fall.  Ideal for making fine jelly.

Crab Apple, Royalty
A beautiful small tree with glistening rich purple foliage which retains its superb color until leaf drop in autumn. Large deep pink flowers in spring followed by exceptionally bright red-purple fruits in autumn.

Pear, Bradford
Bradford Pear Tree is hard to beat for early Spring flowers and spectacular Autumn color.  Fast growing, easy to maintain and transplant.  Great for a quick screen or ornamental tree along driveway or street.

Pear, Callery Redspire

Callery Pear cultivars are excellent flowering trees. The flowers are white and appear in early spring. The fall color starts as a deep purple and then becomes red.

Plum, Newport
The hardiest of the Purple Plums noted for its purple-red foliage when mature and displaying light bronze-purple leaves when young.  Bears dull purple fruit.  Pale pink to white blooms on the rounded crown.  This deciduous tree is useful in all areas of landscaping.

Plum, Purpleleaf

Branches droop from the sheer weight of the flowers!  All the purple leaf plums require full sun to maintain the deepest purple color.  This is a nice small plum with the deepest purple foliage on upright growth. Single pink flowers in early spring. Little or no fruit. Excellent for bonsai.

Plum, Santa Rosa

This tree produces plums that have a delicious flavor.  The fruit is large, dark reddish purple color with red flesh.  It is self pollinating.  Will produce fruit in 3-5 years.  Blooms late May.  Harvest late July.
