Produces rose-red flowers from
May through fall. One of the best Xeric perennials for the Ruidoso area.
Deadheading after the seed pods form will encourage additional blooming.

|
Many of the Yarrows are
extremely drought resistant and this is one of the best for the Ruidoso
area. The silver-gray foliage is beautifully topped with plentiful yellow

|
The silver-grey foliage is covered with
blue flower spikes from late summer through frost. This extreme xeric
perennial was the 1995 Perennial Plant of the Year. A well deserved award

Red and yellow flowers bloom all summer

Mid-summer through fall this upright
grower has a profusion of bloom spikes. Seems to prefer afternoon sun and

Snow-in-Summer is
useful in the rock garden or as a ground cover. Can be invasive in
contained areas but spreads rapidly as a soil holder on slopes. The white flowers

Double yellow
blossoms keep coming all summer. Deadheading encourages heavier blooming.
Needs regular watering until established. Does best in well drained soil. Size:

Finely cut silvery foliage. Forms a
compact, rounded mound which is soft and fluffy to the touch. A valuable

A member of the
Purge family. The sap contains latex which will fend off gophers in the
yard. Clustered yellow blossoms in the late spring. Best used as an accent
